On Friday Stefan Kaegi will make a speech at the Gromov's Dacha!
 
Stefan Kaegi, the theatrical director from Berlin, will talk about new theatrical performances which its Rimini Protokol theater realizes in public spaces with participation of residents. Lecture will be in English with the translation. In particular, he will talk about the well-known large-scale international project of the Remote X theater which participants there were largest cities of the world:    Berlin, Vienna, Avignon, Lisboa, Bangalore, São Paulo.    Stefan also will tell about the Remote Petersburg project which was realized in cooperation with Big Drama Theatre and became part of repertoire:    in this season it can be seen till September.  

Lecture will take place in English with the translation.

Stefan Kaegi – the director, studied in Zurich and University Gissen in Germany. Worked in Argentina, Brazil, Austria and Poland with local performers in an urban environment.
World of toy trains, described in his performance "Mnemopark" was noted by a jury prize at the "Policy at Free Theatre" festival. The mobile performance "Cargo Sofia" – the truck with two Bulgarian drivers – in 2006 travelled across Europe. In 2009 Stefan Kaegi created performance "Radio Muezzin" with participation of four Egyptian muezzins calling for a prayer, and radio engineering.

In 2009 the European fund of culture awarded Stefan Kaegi with the award Route Awards.

Educational and art events of the "Critical mass" this summer will help to intensify process of revival of the mansion and its transformation into the modern cultural center and to enter the building in a today's sociocultural landscape of Petrogradsky district.
